Until recently Indian Boarding Schools were an option for Natives to go to. In a lot of cases it was a very negative situation for Native students, but for some students it was a way for Native students to avoid racial tension in the Port Angeles area. For some students it was a way to ensure that they had three good meals everyday, and give their parents one less mouth to feed at home. Pictured are Larry and Walt Bennett.
